Maintenance-Free & Self-Draining

Fully aluminium

No painting or varnishing required

At Serval, we understand the value of a carefree and enjoyable boating experience and strive to optimize it. Ease and durability are our priorities, which is why the Serval is made from saltwater-resistant aluminium. It’s incredibly strong, scratch-resistant, and doesn't require painting or varnishing.

Self-Draining, no cover needed

Furthermore, the Serval is self-draining. After rainfall or navigating through waves, the built-in self-draining system automatically expels any water that has entered. This means there’s no need for a cover!!

Serval 26 tender self-draining

Another benefit of the self-draining system is dry feet while boating and a clean vessel. You can relax and enjoy your time on the water. Combined with the aluminum construction, this means you don't have to spend time on maintenance, and the boat stays clean and attractive without the need for paint, varnish, or covers to protect it from weather and water elements.

The bottom of the aluminum tender is coated with antifouling to prevent fouling. An annual rinse is sufficient to keep the underside clean. The antifouling layer lasts about 5 years, after which it is advisable to apply a new layer. If the boat is stored dry each year, the antifouling will last much longer.

We’ve built the Serval so you can enjoy it the moment you desire. Moreover, this fast and efficient tender is traditionally built according to the design of leading boat designer Nigel Irens, granting it unique sailing characteristics, including a high hull speed.
